Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Varmir's speech-to-text and translation services. By creating an account or using the API, you agree to them.
1. The service
Varmir ("we", "us") provides multilingual speech recognition and real-time translation through a web app and an HTTP/ WebSocket API. We may update, improve, or change features over time.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and API keys, and for all activity under your account. Keep your keys secret — anyone with a key can use your quota. Tell us promptly if you suspect a key was leaked, and rotate it from your dashboard.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- process audio you have no right to process, or that is unlawful;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service;
- resell raw API access without our written agreement;
- use the service to build a directly competing transcription API.
4. Billing
Paid plans and credit packs are billed through our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Usage above your plan quota is drawn from credits. Prices are shown before purchase. See our Refund Policy for refunds.
5. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and occasional downtime can happen. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Varmir is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any amount exceeding what you paid us in the three months before the claim.
7. Termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your access ends; unused credits are handled per the Refund Policy.
8. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page. Questions? Email [email protected] or visit our contact page.
